LEARN MORE

We want to bring attention to the fact that Jacky committed crimes at 18 years old after being bounced around in group homes and abused for the first twelve years of his life by various family members.  There are countless stories like his…both men and women who suffered violent childhoods and mental health issues as a result and ended up incarcerated. Many of these men and women have nursed themselves back to mental and emotional health and deserve a second chance at life. Please consider signing Jacky's Change.org petition to voice your support for his freedom.

PROVEN POSITIVE

Reformation is possible and success, even while in prison, is attainable.

Because of You

THE BOOK

This book details the journey of Jacky Robinson Jr., from a young child growing up in the streets of Akron, Ohio and ending up sentenced to two consecutive life sentences in 2003 and 2005 for two murders. He was never taught true faith in God by members of his family who would hypocritically force him and his siblings to attend different religious services ( while briefly residing in their household) and at the same time abuse them.

Learning how to fight and how to use different methods of violence kept Jacky alive when sent to prison. His search for God grew, however, as he felt a huge emptiness within his spirit. Disciplining himself, he began to study religions and spiritual principles that helped him gain insight into the unseen realm. As the book progresses, Jacky teaches the reader what he has learned and applied to his character, Christian truths, that have helped to remold and reshape him into a new person.

WHAT PEOPLE HAD TO SAY

Interesting read

A great autobiography, very well written. Interesting story in finding faith in faithless places and situations. Proof that people can change and find themselves through their beliefs. I applaud this author on his accomplishments and his dedication to bettering himself.

Prison Faith

This book is a journey of one man's life through hardship, prison, and faith. His childhood was full of abuse, neglect and hardship. He turned to the streets to find a sense of belonging. His time in prison was a roller coaster of drugs and gangs. Then he found Jesus and his whole life changed . The rest of the book is his spiritual path to today. It's an honest autobiography that will offer insight into prison and a person's journey of faith.

JACKY ON SOLITARY CONFINEMENT

… beaten, bruised, threatened, and silenced

We are beaten, bruised, threatened, and silenced with no hope in sight. Then when released back into society we’re expected to function at a ‘normal’ level as everyone else without fully realizing ourselves how much trauma we’ve undergone.
